A Canadian team known as Brand & Grotesque have set up a Kickstarter page that could change the way we play video games forever. “Blood Sport” is an arduino-controlled rig that actively draws blood from a player when they get damaged in a video game. Their goal is to get to 250,000 Canadian Dollars.
The machine won’t be for home use, but will be used for gaming events. The idea is to bring awareness to donating blood, by setting these devices up at gaming tournaments. Still it’s pretty badass that you can thrash an opponent and be doing some good for the world as well.
